About
A small game about saying the wrong word
AngryLips is the fill-in-the-blank game you remember from the back seat of a car, rebuilt for a table full of phones. You type words without seeing the story. The story gets revealed. Someone has to read it out loud. That's the entire product, and we think it's enough.
The library has 303 stories written the way the good ones always were: blanks first, story second, so the joke lands no matter what you type. Modern formats too — group chats, one-star reviews, voicemails, HOA notices — because that's where the funny words live now.
What it costs
Playing is free, with no ads and no account. The one thing we charge for is the AI: stories written on the spot about your friends, and a narrator who reads them like a movie trailer. Those cost real money every time they run, so Pro covers them. Nothing else is behind it.
Who makes it
AngryLips is built by Cronk Companies, LLC, a one-person shop in Minnesota that builds operating systems for businesses that make things — cost against production, paperwork that routes itself, AI that works inside your own accounts. This game runs on the same Microsoft foundation as that work, which is partly why it exists: a party game is a fair test of whether the plumbing holds up when a dozen phones hit it at once.
It runs on Microsoft Azure and Vercel. We don't sell data and we don't run ads — see the privacy policy, which is short on purpose.
Not affiliated with Mad Libs® or Penguin Random House. Different game, same joy.
